Legal Counsel

The Mayor’s Office of Legal Counsel provides legal advice to the Mayor and his senior staff in all policy areas. The team's work provides guidance on major litigation, as well as legal and policy counsel on issues related to homelessness, public safety, housing, labor, immigration, climate change, government transparency and ethics compliance, water rights, employment, transportation, cyber security, the 2020 Census, economic development, and constitutional law.
